Summer Education Programs
Our 2011 Summer Education Programs are over for the season. Check back during February Vacation Week for daily programs! If you have a group, troop, classroom, or club, please consider a scheduled education program. Available year-round, these can be tailored to your group. Click here for more information.
From July 5 through September 1, 2011, NMLC offers daily onsite education programs for kids of all ages!
~ RSVP suggested but not required (except for Marine Animal Mystery).
~ Suggested donation: $3 members/$5 non-members per person per program, except where noted.
~ All proceeds help fund NMLC’s rehabilitation, science, and education programs.

Patient Update:
Mondays & Fridays, 10 am (all ages are welcome)
Meet a member of our animal care staff and learn about the wildlife patients we currently have in-house. Ask questions about our new marine animal hospital. Free.
Fins & Flippers:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 am -11 am
(all ages are welcome)
Storytime at 10am, immediately followed by an Arts & Crafts project. Different theme each week!

July 19th & 21nd: Dolphins, Porpoises, & Whales
July 26th & 28th: Sea Birds
August 2nd & 4th: Sharks & Rays

August 16th & 18th: Pirates & Mermaids
August 23rd & 25th: Manatees & Dugongs
August 30th & September 1st: Diamond-Backed Terrapins and Red-Bellied Cooters
Marine Animal Medical Mystery
Wednesdays 10 am (ages 8-12)
Come learn what it takes to be a marine animal care technician. What are some of the questions and “mysteries” that an animal care staff looks at every day? Weekly themes are the same as Fins & Flippers above.
Space is limited to 12 children. Please reserve your spot by calling (508) 743-9888 x12 at least 24 hours in advance.
Do-It-Yourself Arts & Crafts
Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am – 5 pm (all ages are welcome)
We will have Arts & Craft projects for you to make on your weekend trip to the National Marine Life Center!
