Summer Education Programs
From July 6 through September 4, 2009, NMLC offers daily onsite education programs for kids of all ages!
~ RSVP suggested but not required (except for Marine Animal Mystery).
~ Suggested donation: $1 members/$3 non-members per person per program.
~ All proceeds help fund NMLC’s rehabilitation, science, and education programs.

Marine Animal Themed Games:
Mondays & Fridays, 10 am (all ages are welcome)
Come play marine animal themed games. Fun for all ages! Have you ever played Marine Animal Twister or Marine Animal Mystery?
Fins & Flippers:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 am -12 pm (all ages are welcome)
Storytime at 10am, immediately followed by an Arts & Crafts project.

July 21st & 23rd: Whales
July 28th & 30th: Dolphins
August 4th & 6th: Mermaids
August 11th & 13th: Sea Shells
August 18th & 20th: Sea Birds

September 1st & 3rd: Pirate Party!
Marine Animal Medical Mystery
Wednesdays 10 am (ages 8-12)
Come learn what it takes to be a marine animal care technician. What are some of the questions and “mysteries” that an animal care staff looks at every day?
Space is limited; please reserve your spot by calling (508) 743-9888 x12 at least 24 hours in advance.
Under the Microscope!
Tuesdays & Thursdays 2 pm (all ages are welcome)
Come learn what Dr. Sea Rogers Williams, NMLC Science Director and Associate Veterinarian, is investigating under his microscope.
What could it be?
Seals, Turtles & Construction – Oh My!
Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, 2 pm (all ages are welcome)
Come learn about current and past patients and our hospital construction project from the NMLC staff. Ask any and all questions that you would like!
Do-It-Yourself Arts & Crafts
Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am – 5 pm (all ages are welcome)
We will have Arts & Craft projects for you to make on your weekend trip to the National Marine Life Center!
