2008 DJF Golf Tournament

The 2nd Annual Douglas J. Fletcher Memorial Golf Tournament was held in September at theBrookside Club in Bourne.  Tournament proceeds benefited the National Marine Life Center in Buzzards Bay (a cause near and dear to Doug). The tournament was sponsored and organized by Convention Data cds-logoServices in Bourne, a company Doug founded that provides state-of-the-art registration, database management and exhibitor lead retrieval services to the tradeshow industry serving the needs of businesses and non-profit associations.

Tournament registration included our famous 19th Hole Festivities at the Quahog Republic, complete with lunch and fabulous raffle prizes!

Thanks to YOU, Convention Data Services raised $15,000 to support the National Marine Life Center!  This allowed NMLC to purchase three “protein skimmers” which are important components of their filtration system for their animal rehabilitation pools.  NMLC used these protein skimmers to rehabilitate “Fletcher the Sea Turtle”.
