Outdoor Programs

We are excited to be offering Outdoor Education Programs! Let’s get outside, safely, and enjoy learning in the sun. Registration is required and we will be limiting programs to 10 participants each.

The National Marine Life Center normally opens our Marine Animal Discovery Center and offers drop-in programs during the summer. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, our Discovery Center is closed for the safety of our personnel, patients, and guests. We are currently offering Outdoor Education Programs on our lawn. Programs are weather permitting, should NMLC need to cancel your program for any reason you will receive a full refund.

LITTLE FLIPPERS STORY TIME & CRAFT PROGRAM
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at 10AM EST (Weather Permitting)
Join a few of the National Marine Life Center educators outside in our green space for a marine animal themed story and craft experience. This 45 minute program is just right for kiddos 3 – 6 years old but all ages and families are welcome. Listen to a story about a very special girl who finds a sea turtle, stranded on Cape Cod, and how she helps the turtle recover and return to the wild with help from the New England Aquarium. Then, spend some time making a sea turtle themed craft to take home with you.

Registration & Payment required for each person attending the program, including parents or guardians supervising children.
~ Cost: $6 members/$8 non-members per person per program
