16th Annual Feet for Flippers 5K (2026)

We’re officially across the finish line! On Saturday, October 17, runners, walkers, and animal lovers gathered in Buzzards Bay for the 16th Annual Feet for Flippers 5K. The weather didn’t fully cooperate, but our participants showed up in rain jackets and good spirits, proving once again that our community will go the distance for sea turtles and seals!

With 81 registered participants running in person on our USATF-certified course and virtually from wherever they call home, our community helped raise money to support rehabilitation of and education about endangered cold-stunned sea turtles and sick or injured seals at the National Marine Life Center.

Congratulations to Tom Steele of Falmouth, who took first place overall with an impressive time of 17:52, and to 13-year-old Olivia Page of Buzzards Bay, our top female finisher at 25:38! Congratulations as well to all of our age group winners. See the full race results here.

A huge thank you to Kick to the Finish for professional race timing, and a special thank you to our race committee and volunteers for all the behind-the-scenes magic that brought this event together. We couldn’t do it without you!
