Dr. Williams was an invited speaker at the South East Region Stranding Conference were he presented a talk on Cetacean Euthanasia, a difficult topic but one that veterinarians, stranding personal, rehabilitators, and the general public must face when a stranded dolphin or whale is suffering. The meeting was held in Florida and well attended. It was good opportunity to network with the southern conference and discuss issues relevant to marine animal euthanasia in an area with a different case-load of stranded cetaceans.
