School is out! Summer is here! And the National Marine Life Center is open for the summer with a full slate of fun and educational summer programs. Join us!

LITTLE FLIPPERS CLUB
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11 a.m.
“Little Flippers” is a marine animal themed story time and craft project! Each week we’ll read stories and make crafts about a different animal (see theme’s below). All ages are welcome, and this program is most suitable for children ages 3-8. Children must be supervised. The program lasts 45-60 min.
COST:  $5/child/program (members $3).

MARINE ANIMAL MEDICAL MYSTERY
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 11 a.m.
What does it take to be a marine animal care technician? What are some of the questions and “mysteries” involved in wildlife rehabilitation? We’ll explore these in “Medical Mystery!” Each week we’ll learn how to care for a different animal (see themes below). All welcome, and this program is best suited for ages 8-14. Please note that there will be no exposure to live animals during this program. The program lasts approximately 60 min.
COST:  $5/child/program (members $3).

Week of June 29: Seals, Sea Lions, & Walrus
Week of July 6: Sharks, Rays, & Skates
Week of July 13: Manatees & Dugongs
Week of July 20: Turtles & Sea Turtles
Week of July 27: Seals, Sea Lions, & Walrus
Week of Aug. 3: Penguins & Other Seabirds
Week of Aug. 10: Mermaid & Pirate Party (costumes optional!)
Week of Aug. 17: Dolphins, Porpoises, & Whales
Week of Aug. 24: Seals, Sea Lions, & Walrus
Week of August 31: Turtles & Sea Turtles

PATIENT UPDATE
Mondays thru Saturdays, 2 p.m. (or by request)
Learn the stories of the marine animal patients currently in our care from a member of our Animal Care Team. View our seal patients via live TV, learn about the large number of sea turtles we had over the winter, and meet our box turtles and diamondback terrapin in person. This program lasts approximately 15-20 minutes. FREE.
