2013 Feet, Fins and Flippers 5K Recap
The NMLC would like to thank everyone who came to the National Marine Life Center’s 2013 Feet Fins and Flippers 5K! Despite the chilly weather, we had an amazing turnout. We are so thankful for the dedication of those who support NMLC!
The race began promptly at 9am, with some finishing in less than 18 minutes. Although early and cold, smiles were in full effect. We had a total number of 268 participants and raised nearly $10,000 and $1,637 in kind donations of goods and services! These events and everyone involved are what enable NMLC to continue to rehabilitate, educate and advocate for environmental sustainability and marine life.
We are thankful for such a great turnout and would also like to congratulate all of those who placed in the top 3 overall and or in their age group. Please check out the pictures and race results available on the NMLC Facebook page.
Would anyone like to guess which intern was wearing the seal costume during the race?
