Meet the Actors of SEAL TIDES!
SEAL TIDES, the educational, family-friendly, comic mystery play opening tonight and running through Sunday, April 27, features an outstanding cast and crew!
Mary Chris Kenney (Ruth) ~ A former Bostonian and now a 25 year “wash-a-shore,” Mary Chris loves the Cape Cod marine life. “Laughter is the best medicine” is her credo for her work both in hospice/home health care, and in acting. “Shirley Valentine” remains her favorite role, just after being a wife and mother. Being part of SEAL TIDES seemed a natural fit for Mary Chris because the playwright teaches through comedy and the play shares important facts about the future of Cape Cod marine life. She feels honored to be part of this team.
Neha Sharma (Corinne) ~ Born and raised (mostly) in India, Neha has been living in the US for over 8 years, only 2 years of those outside of Massachusetts. She ventured into the world of acting during the summer of 2013 and has since played lead roles in Theatre One Productions, Inc.’s “The Maltese Falcon” as a staged radio show and a short film – “Ascendants”. An oceanographer by profession, Neha is excited to be a part of this production and working with a wonderfully talented team, educating children and adults alike on marine life and how we can all do our part to preserve the environment and its diversity.
Dan Tritle (Jamie) ~ Dan Tritle has been involved many community theater productions. Among them, “Rocky Horror Show” at Woods Hole Theater Company, “It’s a Wonderful Life” at Cotuit Center for the Arts, and “Same Time, Next Year” at the Barnstable Comedy Club. He’s the morning host at WCAI, the local NPR station. Dan lives in Falmouth with his wife, the writer Janet Gardner.
Eva Schegulla (writer/director) ~ Eva moved to Cape Cod in 2010 after a long, varied career on Broadway. She is a full-time writer, publishing under multiple names, providing writing and editing services to an international client base. Her plays are produced in New York, London, Edinburgh, Australia — and Cape Cod.
