Ahoy, Mateys! Instead of Jolly Ol’ St. Nick, how ’bout the Jolly Roger? For enough doubloons, you can win yerself a genu-wine Pirate Tree!
Just head yerself over to the Jonathan Bourne Public Library ‘n bid on the National Marine Life Center’s Pirate Tree. While yer at it, check out all the other great trees being auctioned off for other great causes. And leave an extra sumpthin’ at the Giving Trees, where donations can be left for the Bourne Food Pantry, Cape Cod Cares for the Troops, and Carriage House.
You ‘specially don’t wanna miss the Caring Christmas Wonderland on Friday, December 3, 5:30 pm, at Jonathan Bourne Public Library. You can enjoy cocoa while viewing and bidding on the 20+ trees benefiting local charities. And, at 6 pm the large tree in front of the library will be lit to mark the beginning of the holiday season.
You can bid from now until December 16th. From 7 – 8 pm, the library will celebrate at a Final Bids Reception when the Silent Auction will end and the trees will be awarded to the highest bidders.
