A Joyful Valentine’s Day
Catching Joy enjoyed visiting the Boston College Children’s Center in Chestnut Hill today to promote the National Marine Life Center’s mission to care and protect the marine wildlife. The kids listened to stories about saving turtles and made valentines for the ocean animals. The kids were very interested and cared about the animals and had many suggestions on how they can help. They were enthusiastic about spreading the message to
others, too! Catching Joy will send the kids’ artwork to the National Marine Life Center (NMLC) and some of them will be displayed in the Discovery Center and also posted on the NMLC website. See www.nmlc.org for more info. on how to get involved. Thanks to Miss Karen and Miss Stephanie who have been teaching their class about kindness and giving back! Keep up the good work!
Editor’s Note: This is a special guest post from NMLC Trustee and Catching Joy Founder Joy Surprenant. Thank you Joy, and thank you children! ~kaz
