Alternative Gift Fair gives holiday shopping new meaning!

Are you looking for ways to rein in the craziness of the holiday season? Possibly give new meaning to gifting? In response to this desire, a new type of event called an “Alternative Gift Fair” is beginning to crop up on Cape Cod.

An Alternative Gift Fair is unique shopping experience where you can get acquainted with a variety of not-for-profit organizations and make donations in honor of someone as a gift.

The Unitarian Church of Barnstable is hosting an Alternative Gift Fair on Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15, 2015.

Alternative Gift Fair Details:

• When: Saturday, November 14, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
  & Sunday, November 15, 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The fair features non-profits providing a wide variety of services, including healthcare, protection of wildlife, preservation of our environment, legal advice & advocacy, and others focused on making Cape Cod a kinder, safer place for everyone.

All donations are tax deductible. Credit cards will be accepted.

The event is co-sponsored by the Green Sanctuary and Social Justice Committees of the Unitarian Church of Barnstable.
