Entergy Corp. donates to save stranded sea turtles!

Entergy logoEntergy Corporation recognizes the power of people – and animals!  A long-time supporter of community environmental initiatives, Entergy’s Pilgrim Station awarded the National Marine Life Center with a $10,000 grant to provide critical environmental support for stranded, endangered sea turtles.  This grant will help purchase a boiler system in NMLC’s new marine animal hospital that uniquely combines heating for the rehabilitation tanks with heating for domestic hot water used for animal dishes, laundry, and radiant floor heating.  The boiler system is modular and expandable, so as we expand our animal hospital with additional rehabilitation tanks we will be able to add additional heating elements.  The system is also adaptable to solar, so when we add solar panels in the future we will be able to hook in our hot water heating.

THANK YOU, Entergy, for helping to save stranded sea turtles!
