There are a lot of exciting happenings at the National Marine Life Center this February Vacation!  We hope to see you often.

For the Love of Turtles (and Seals and Dolphins and….) Open House
When:  Saturday, February 18, 2012
Time:  10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where:  120 Main Street, Buzzards Bay
Cost:  Non-members $5/person.  Members FREE.
Description:  Join us for our February Open House! Explore the Discovery Center, make a marine animal valentine, enjoy arts and crafts and games and refreshments. Meet Catch-22, Bruce, Vesuvius, and Pierce, and our eight hatchlings. Tour our new marine animal hospital.

Fins & Flippers Club (Story Time & Arts & Crafts)

Time:  11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where:  120 Main Street, Buzzards Bay
Cost:  Non-members $5/child/program.  Members $3/child/program.
Description:  Join us for a marine animal-themed story time and craft project! Different themes every day. All ages welcome; most suitable for children ages 3-8. Children must be supervised.

Time:  2 – 3 p.m.
Where:  120 Main Street, Buzzards Bay
Cost:  Non-members $5/child/program.  Members $3/child/program.
Description:  What does it take to be a marine animal care technician? What are some of the questions and “mysteries” involved in wildlife rehabilitation? Each day we’ll learn how to care for a different animal. Best suited for ages 8-12. Space is limited to 12 children. Please reserve your spot by calling (508) 743-9888, x-12 at least 24 hours in advance.
