“Help Care for Turtles” Open House

Help Care for Turtles by visiting the National Marine Life Center’s Discovery Center and Gift Shop this holiday weekend! We’re open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 28-30 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Featuring:

• HOSPITAL TOURS at 11 am and 3 pm daily. See the 30 sea turtles, 2 seals, and 10 native turtles in our care.
  (Tours are first-come, first-served. For the safety of our wildlife patients, tour groups are limited to 10 people. If there are more visitors, we will run additional tours on the half hour.)

If you can, please bring an item from the Center’s animal care wish list https://ezidesignconcept.com/ways-to-help/wish-list/. To care for the new sea turtles, we especially need 25cc and 60cc syringes, nitrile exam gloves, alcohol wipes, laundry detergent, bleach, paper towels, Calcium vitamins & B Complex vitamins, garden or pocket hoses, surgical lube or KY jelly, medical tape, and 6″ cotton tip applicators with wooden sticks.
