Marine Mammal Parasite of the Month

As part of our grant to study the parasites of marine mammals, we are committed to educating the stranding network about the identity and significance of common marine mammal parasites.    Dictionary.com defines a parasite this way.

noun

1. an organism that lives on or in an organism of another species, known as the host, from which body it obtains nutrients.
