Kiko is a Kemp’s ridley sea turtle. Kemp’s ridleys are the smallest of all 7 species of sea turtles and the most critically endangered. Kiko was one of the first sea turtles to be triaged at National Marine Life Center, meaning that he received his first critical care here with our team. Kiko was recently released in Florida and can now contribute towards the growth and recovery of the population!
