Registration is now OPEN for the 2017 Feet, Fins, & Flippers 5K!
It’s time to get active! Use your FEET to help our FINNED and FLIPPERED friends! Join runners, walkers, and animal-lovers for the Feet, Fins, & Flippers 5K to raise money for the National Marine Life Center! Run, walk, roll, stroll, flip, skip, from near and afar – join us to help marine animals! This is a fun, family oriented, pet-friendly event.

- WHEN: Sunday, May 7, 2017, 9:00 am
- WHERE: Cape Cod Canal, by Railroad Bridge
- COST: $25 pre-registration (until 5/5/17), $35 same day registration

The race begins at the Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge, at the west end of Main Street, next to Buzzards Bay Park and the train station. The flat, scenic course travels down and back along the beautiful Cape Cod Canal. Ample parking is available. There will be a water station along the route accessible in both directions. Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners. Prizes will also be awarded to male and female winners in each of the following six age groups.
- Neonate (12 and under)
- Pup (13-19)
- Yearling (20-29)
- Juvenile (30-39)
- Sub-Adult (40-49)
- Adult (50-59)
- Senior (60+)

Can’t make it or live too far away to join us? Register to “Flip from Afar!” Wherever you are, run, walk, roll, stroll, flip, skip, dance, prance, swim, crawl, jump. We’ll mail you your t-shirt after the race. And feel free to post photos of yourself being active to help marine animals on NMLC’s Facebook page!

All event proceeds – including race fees, donations, and sponsorships – directly benefit the National Marine Life Center’s marine animal rehabilitation, science, and education programs. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help care for sick and injured seals and sea turtles.
