Medals will be awarded to male and female runners in each of six age groups: Neonate (12 and under), Pup (13-19), Yearling (20-29), Juvenile (30-39), Sub-Adult (40-49), Adult (50-59), and Senior (60+). Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners.
Can’t make it or live too far away to join us? Register to “Flip from Afar!” Wherever you are, run, walk, dance, swim, crawl, roll, jump, skip, and/or flip. We’ll mail you your t-shirt after the race. And we welcome you to post photos of yourself being active to help marine animals on NMLC’s Facebook page!
Interested in sponsoring the race? Register here or contact Kathy Zagzebski at kzagzebski@nmlc.org for more information and sponsorship benefits.
All event proceeds – including race fees, donations, and sponsorships – directly benefit the National Marine Life Center’s marine animal rehabilitation, science, and education programs. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help care for sick and injured seals and sea turtles.
On behalf of the animals, thank you for your support!
