Shop Small, Shop Local, and Shop Blue! NMLC Open 10-5 All Weekend

As you’re out and about this holiday weekend, why not “Shop Blue” and support a store where your purchases help marine animals! The National Marine Life Center’s Marine Animal Discovery Center and Gift Shop is open this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Featuring ocean-themed stuffies, toys, books, jewelry, handbags, pottery, and artwork, our Gift Shop is sure to have something for everyone on your list! Many of these products are educational, eco-friendly, and/or locally made. We believe in shopping small as well!

While you’re here, check out our brand new closed-circuit camera into our marine animal hospital. You can spy on Ichabod the harbor seal and our 10 new Kemp’s ridley sea turtle patients. You’ll also see volunteers at work feeding, treating, and cleaning up after the animals.
There’s also plenty for the kids to do. They can explore marine animal specimens, play marine animal vet with model animals, read books and color.
So stop by, shop, browse, enjoy some cider and cookies, and learn more about helping marine animals!
