Honor Mother Earth this Mothers Day weekend and join the National Marine Life Center (NMLC) as part of the Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative in cleaning up a local beach. The Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative will be holding a spring beach clean-up on Saturday May 7th. The clean-up will take place at Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown, Ma. at 10am. NMLC volunteers are encouraged to attend.

If you would like to participate please contact Kate Shaffer (508)-743-9888 or kshaffer@nmlc.org for more information. The NMLC van will be available to transport volunteers to and from the clean-up site. If you need a ride please contact Kate as soon as possible to reserve a seat.  Volunteers are also asked to bring their own gloves, water bottle, and a pail/bucket or reusable/recycled bag to hold waste. We are making an effort to minimize the amount of waste we produce during the clean up.  Bring your family and friends and spend a day on the beach removing marine debris.

Believing that wildlife has intrinsic value to our region, the Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative is a partnership of non-profit organizations committed to protecting wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation, science, advocacy, habitat conservation and education.
