Thank You Volunteers! – Community Service

It’s National Volunteer Week!  Today we’d like to thank all the Community Service volunteers who have helped us over the years.

The National Marine Life Center has been blessed with over 300 community service volunteers who have donated their time for a specific project.  Some have participated in a work day while others have done semester-long projects.  We’ve enjoyed working with students from high school and college, boy scout and girl scout groups, corporate groups, the Gosnold Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, and many other wonderful groups.  They’ve painted and planted and cleaned.  They’ve built and video’d and drawn pictures.  They’ve picked up trash and recycled cans.

Here is a sampling of community service projects.  Thank you, Volunteers!
