Win Winnie!
Winnicut is a female harbor seal weanling that stranded earlier this year, on January 12, in Hampton, New Hampshire. Suffering from respiratory distress and a parasitic infection, she nevertheless had a fighting spirit that quickly captured our hearts.
Three months and hours of care later, we were excited to release Winnie back into the wild. On March 14, 2018, she swam off into the great blue.
Now, noted Cape Cod artist Forrest Pirovano, has created a one-of-a-kind painting of Winnie. He donated it to NMLC to help raise funds for seal rehabilitation. This beautiful framed painting is valued at $500.
The drawing to Win Winnie will be held at the November 13, 2018 “Sip for Sea Turtles” event.
You do not need to be present to win.
The winner of Winnie got to Tim Hines. Congratulations!!!
