Pouring Concrete!
Construction of NMLC’s new marine animal hospital began in earnest March 20 with the pouring of concrete for the footings. Because we are in a flood plain and elevating the building, and because we are using a pre-engineered structure, there is a LOT of concrete work ahead! For now, we’re on our way! Stay tuned….
Fletcher gets ready for release!

He was rescued by volunteers from the MassAudubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, triaged at the New England Aquarium, and transferred to NMLC on December 4.
